Yirgacheffe is highly revered, considered by many to be the finest Ethiopian coffee. Descending from traditional varieties of heirloom Arabica beans, the Yirgacheffe beans develop sweeter in higher elevations, around 7000 feet above sea-level. They are hand-picked and hand-sorted by small scale farmers, and wet-processed, a manner that brings out the brighter citrus and floral high notes. The lower notes of our BLUE NILE VIBE come through as subtle blueberry and chocolate. Aromatically, it is pleasingly fragrant, emphasizing the floral and citrus. While this coffee delivers a palate of diversity, it is an intense, clean, mellow cup with an elegant mouth feel.
