Panama may be the only place on earth where you can observe the sun rising over the Pacific and setting into the Atlantic. You read that correctly! Because of the Isthmus of Panama, the Pacific is to the east (sunrise) and the Atlantic is to the west (sunset) for this small region. We’re naming this new Single Origin Panama DOUBLE SUN in honor of that phenomenon. These beans, grown in the green highlands of the Boquete region are considered by some connoisseurs to be one of the best quality coffees in the world. A mild & balanced coffee, our DOUBLE SUN is medium roasted to bring out the rich, floral aromatics and the crisp, fruity notes. An infusion of tropical fruit, subtle cocoa and whispers of sweet lavender shine through. This cup sparkles with medium acidity and an earthy, buttery body that is sweetened with hints of papaya, pineapple, lemon and orange. Finishing with a flash of bergamot and lifted with the aromas of orchid & jasmine, you’ll agree this bright, beautiful cup is a double dose of sunshine!
