The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda is home to half the world’s population of Mountain Gorillas, so we’re calling our Single Origin Uganda – SILVERBACK! This coffee comes to us from the Mount Elgon region, with small coffee farms dotting its slopes. Flourishing in the rich soil and high elevation, our SILVERBACK yields a smooth, medium-bodied coffee with gentle acidity and buttery finish. Subtle dark chocolate mixed with flashes of blackberry anchor the undertones. Dark nutty aromas are brightened by citrusy tangerine and mango. Exotic fruity notes, like passion fruit and jackfruit are sweetened with hints of honey and vanilla. This is an exceptional cup – and our very own Silverback’s favorite!
